After obtaining a PhD in Nuclear Physics, Sarah has concentrated her efforts in the world of IT (writing a space invader game on a ZX81 as a young girl was a clear sign of things to come).
Sarah has nine years experience in the IT industry with responsibility for security, designing various mechanisms for commercial products, including the design and writing of an SSL server. As head of technical communication for the US based international software company, Tarantella (now owned by Sun Microsystems), Sarah developed and ran internal training, and associated web resource (intranet).
Sarah has a long industry experience of object oriented design and programming using Java and C++; and has been developing websites harnessing PHP and XML.
